sign up for letters via email Once or twice a month I write a short letter and send it to a small group of people who want to think about these things together: self-trust (often after a lifetime of self-doubt), the inner life of writing and creativity, growing ourselves up, poems that enliven, the wisdom of physical space, and the things that get in our way. I draw on teachers I love (Cynthia Bourgeault, Pia Mellody, Meinrad Craighead, Clarissa Pinkola Estés) and on my own ongoing, imperfect, puttering process of doing exactly this work. These letters are for people recovering from people-pleasing and perfectionism, for writers who suspect their creative blocks and their life blocks are the same (!), and for people wanting to explore a deeper selfhood together. And the best part is that many of my readers write me back, and I hope you will, too. Here's a taste of recent letters:→ tricksters, martyrs, and letting go of the addiction to creative suffering → you are the place where I stand on the day when my feet are sore → freedom from what wears out our heartsIf these feel like something you'd like in your inbox, I'd be so glad to have you. With care, Brianna First Name Last Name Email Address Sign Up We respect your privacy.
