Self-Trust Coach for People-Pleasers and Codependence Recovery

Hi, I’m Brianna. I coach people through the process of finding self-trust and recovering from people-pleasing and codependence. And I support writers during the transformative process of writing and publishing a book, too.

For over twenty years I've been working with creatives and people in transition—helping them find their voice, trust themselves, and shed the identities and patterns that no longer fit. I’m trained in Pia Mellody's model for healing codependence and relational trauma and Martha Beck’s Wayfinder coaching model. I studied at Richard Rohr's Center for Action and Contemplation and spent fourteen years running Ruminate, a literary magazine about faith and doubt. Now I’m knee-deep in the wisdom of feng shui (life-long student here).

My foundational perspective in all my work is about accessing and living from a deeper selfhood and taking conscious responsibility for the life we’ve been given.

Curious about working together? Send me a message, or sign up for a free chat to talk things through.

  • "Brianna excavates but doesn’t use heavy machinery. She helped me look at what's under the rug in all kinds of different contexts and created a space where I was comfortable to go there, to look it in the face, and to work through the limiting beliefs and the sticky emotions with courage and compassion. I’m braver in my life (and made a huge, life-giving career change!) because I've been brave enough to stand with this stuff in session with Brianna." —Steph K.

  • “Thank you Brianna for the encouragement and proposing a way of doing this whole ‘trust’ thing differently. Before this, I surely haven’t given a shit about trusting myself. Maybe even ever. Thank you.” —Matt G.

  • While I was initially unsure how coaching would differ from traditional talk therapy, Brianna’s approach opened up a powerful, non-analytical way of understanding myself, including finding a surprising and meaningful spiritual dimension. And I'm continuing to learn how to see myself more clearly and trust myself, even and especially in my relationships." —Rich J.

  • My sessions with Brianna were seriously life-changing. After a big move to a new state, I still feel so close with my friends in Colorado, and I think if I hadn't gotten coaching help from Brianna, I may have preemptively turned away from these friends out of fear or old patterns. —Christy U.

  • I began sessions right after my mum died and I was amazed by how open and vulnerable I could be. This opened me up to a world of self-discovery. Brianna has a gift of lovingly coaxing my inner self to the surface. Her guided creativity framework, especially the visualization exercises, has been transformative.” —Liesa O
